Michael Russell

Michael Russell is a senior consultant at fassforward consulting group. Michael has over a decade of experience in strategic communication and organizational change management experience. He brings a unique perspective on the work of individuals and organizations in history to understanding the problems facing companies today.

Prior to joining fassforward, Michael was an associate at Mercer Delta Consulting, where he participated in change and learning initiatives for the senior executives of several Fortune 500 companies, including International Paper, Hewlett-Packard, Lucent Technologies and Kimberly-Clark.  Michael also edited Research Notes, Mercer Delta’s monthly survey of articles and books in the organization development field.

Michael has contributed to articles which have appeared in Harvard Management Review, MIT Sloan Business Review and Mercer Management Journal. He also coauthored a chapter on the challenges facing the OD field with Elise Walton in The Dynamics of Organizational Change and Learning published by Wiley in 2004. Before entering the consulting field, Michael taught medieval history at Touro College and in the City University of New York.  Michael did his graduate work at New York University.
